During Trumps first term, the nation suffered an extra 200,000 deaths from Covid-19 due to his incompetence, his promotion of quack medicines, and his criticisms of the life-saving vaccinations that became available. Death rates for Republicans were higher than Democrats once the vaccinations were approved.

Even with the nation still suffering from Covid-19, he is determined to destroy the stockpile of Covid testing kits that were being made available to citizens at no charge. It’s not that he’s not going to allow new kits to be made, he’s going to destroy ones the government already purchased. That doesn’t sound like government efficiency to me.

We all know he appointed a rabid anti-vaxxer, RFK Jr., to be the Secretary of Health and Human Services. Now he wants to appoint another well-known anti-vaxxer, Dave Weldon, to be head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Weldon not only thinks we have too many vaccines in this country, he believes the well debunked theory that vaccines cause autism.
