The Issue

Once again the Republicans want to decimate social services the working class depends on so that they can give another entirely unneeded tax break to the ultra-wealthy in this country. Yes, the people really hurting in this country are the 800 billionaires who already have more money than they can spend in a lifetime.

The list of programs on the chopping block are extensive, but Medicaid cuts are included, breaking the promise the Republicans made that Medicaid wouldn’t be touched. Healthcare for the poorest is expendable. Pro-life hypocrisy is a well-established Republican trait.

It wouldn’t hurt to call Congressman Huffman, but we’re going to need help from the Republicans to defeat this bill.
