I know, I know… There are many reasons for complaints and there has been a lack of leadership. BUT! Check it out! Our California senators did something good! They voted AGAINST a bill covering the military which included specific and harmful anti-trans legislation. The bill is part of the negotiations process on the budget shutdown. It has traditionally been considered politically risky to vote against military spending, Adam Schiff and Alex Padilla both did, with 18 other Democrats.
