Republicans have consistently used the Congressional budget bill to force the entire Congress to do its bidding, since the alternative of shutting down the government has such dire consequences.

But in a year that sees the government already partially shutdown, and the stock market in a free fall, playing their game isn’t as dangerous as it has been in the past. It’s time to call their bluff.

Please contact Alex Padilla and Adam Schiff and urge them to vote NO on any continuing resolution unless it contains strong guarantees that Elon Musk is barred from destroying our government any further. He should not have a role in our government.
